ClaytonÕs birth and death dates are from an inscription under
his portrait which hangs in the courtroom at Louisa Courthouse.

1580. Benjamin F. Coleman

Benjamin moved to Charles City County on 1 Jan 1859. He and
John Smith bought a 1500 acre plantation ÒFarmingtonÓ from
William S. Harrison and wife. (DB 11, p. 221, Charles City Co.)

3200. Annie Walton Coleman

Never married.

1596. Rebecca Coleman Diggs

ÒElimÓ was the Coleman home. At that time, it consisted of 900
acres. It was located one-and-one-half miles from Lewiston.
RebeccaÕs will was probated 5 Apr 1880.
