915. Robert Coleman
ROBERT COLEMAN WAS A SOLDIER IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR. HE WAS
GRANTED 6OO ACRES OF LAND ON BOTH SIDES OF MILL CREEK JUST OFF
THE PACOLET RIVER ON JAN. 1, 1766. THIS LAND WAS SURVEYED BY
ZACHARIAH BULLOCK. ROBERT WAS HEIR TO MUCH OF CHRISTOPHER'S
COLEMAN'S LAND.
Robert Sutton
Robert and Caroline were living in Orange County, Virginia in
1794 on a 340 acres tract of land owned by his father. This
land was later held in trust for their two daughters.
CarolineÕs parents, Thomas and Millicent Coleman, left
CarolineÕs inheritance to her children, bypassing Robert and
Caroline.
924. James Coleman Goodwin
James and Nancy were living in Kentucky by 1 Sep 1789 per a deed
where Hawes Coleman was his attorney (Spotsylvania County DB M
1788-91).
2137. Frederick William Coleman
probate date of will
Frederick operated the Concord Academy until 1840 when he
entered politics. He was member of the Virginia State Senate
for 1855 ato 1861.
Charles Burrus
Charles moved his family to Huntsville, Alabama, where he ran a
dry goods store.
