"GLENN, WILLIAM G. 5-16-1761 -- 4-18-1827 Revolutionary

mistaken for 'G'?

Elizabeth Wright, daughter of Thomas Wright, entered in 1830 on
page 258 of SC Miscellaneous Records Volume G 1829-1831 reported

following manner (Viz). I do lend all my land and all my negros
and all my household and kitchen furniture with all my stock and
plantation tools with all my cash bonds and back accounts with
all my crop to my daughter Nancy R. RICE during her natural life
and at her death to be equally divided amongst her children.
And if either of her children should die before her and leave
children for the part of there father or mother to be equally
divided amongst them. And lastly, I do constitute and appoint
Doctor Hexekiah RICE, James YOUNG and Richard F. SIMPSON
executors to this my last will and testament. Hereby revoking
all other and former wills and testaments by me heretofore made.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my
seal this the 5th of January, 1826. Signed and delivered in

The above will raises the question whether Nancy, married to Dr.
Hezekiah Rice (Jr.), is Nancy T. Glenn, as stated in "The Glenns
of Union County" by Ralph Manning Magoffin, or Nancy R. Glenn.
