7379. Damaris Ellene Thompson

Ellene was active in the Baptist church and the Eastern Star.
She had a beautiful singing voice and was called upon often to
sing solo for various events. She worked several types of jobs,
from grocery store cashier to bookeeper to bank teller. She was
also a talented seamstress on a small scale, which was one of
her great passions. She was an avid reader and a big "Perry
Mason" fan. She was a good wife and mother and a generous
neighbor.

Otis Merriwell Pricher

Otis was an active Baptist. He served as a deacon and Sunday
School teacher for many years. He was also an active Free
Mason. He met Ellene when she came to sing in the church he
attended in Loughman. He boxed in his younger days in city
leagues which existed at the time.
